review 1: This was a quick short read, and perfectly written as an introduction to the first book. The only thing I would have liked to have been different were more details about what exactly happened during the test. That part was skipped, and the story jumped straight from the main female protagonist being chose and taken to the headquarters to being chosen and part of the program. However, besides that the overall story was pretty good, and it had me interested enough to want to read the first book.
review 2: Every female between 14-25 is sent for government testing. If you fail the test you are sent home untouched to your family. Pass the test and you are selected for breeding with an alien species that need to repopulate, by donating your eggs. This one was ok bu
... moret didn't really grab me. Miranda was a bit of a pain, always mouthing off to the chief officer she has to deal with. Her behaviour could have put all the girls in danger. Also I hate babies so a story centered on producing babies and babies dying in failed breeding experiments was not my thing. The one good thing is the bad guy officer who was well written and interesting. Story itself was well enough written and presented so no issues with the author's ability or style. less

Interesting concept just not riveting as anticipated. Would still read if interested in this genre.
