review 1: I started reading this after reading the Dr. Siri series, this one is set in modern Thailand and with a female protagonist. She moves with her mother and brother from a large city to a small town and is stuck trying to find her way, her family is crazy (so is she) and that is part of the joy of the book - family relations. The murder mystery was more intense then I would have thought and was much creepier then I was expecting. It reminded me a lot of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich, funny and sweet along with a good mystery.
review 2: I was really enjoying the book but I don't know if I was tired or because of names but I got very confused at the end as to who the person was who committed the murder. I am not sure if it was because I was having a h
... moreard time keeping track of names. I think I know "who done it" but am not 100% certain. If someone could post a "SPOILER ALERT" for me and tell me who it was......I also had a hard time with the animal stuff again. I wish authors wouldn't use animals in their murders. less
