review 1: I bought this audio book from Audibles after having read book 1 and seeing this audible priced low. If you like multiple story lines to your mystery, a humorous heroine and a super-human gift possessed by your heroine, who also has a knack of getting into sticky situations, then this book may be the perfect read for you!Filled with likable characters (even the mob-boss) and centered around a new-to-the-sleuthing-world soccer mom, this detective series is entertaining and quick. I like the heroine's sense of humor, the trusting relationship between our heroine and her husband, and the heroine's ability to get out of the troubles she can't help but fall into. Thank goodness I can jump right to books 3 and 4 without delay!
review 2: I am delighted I found this ser... moreies. Shelby is out shopping and finds a pair of boots she wants. She remembers the bank account Uncle Joey set for her. She draws out money and surprise the balance both the account is 5 million. She calls Chris and learns he court and goes,to meet him. Near elevator she reads someone mind that is going kill someone. She tells Chris and they tried to let the police know. The person kills the bank robber on trial. Shelby points the murder out the police. He is arrested but turned loose for lacked of evidence. Meanwhile several parties want Uncle Joey's money. Suddenly several people are after Shelby because of the money she can assess. The police and FBI are both trying to protect her. I found it hard to put down. I will be reading the rest of this series. less
