review 1: Ok, so like BEWARE OF THE SPOILERS........ OK, I continue. Tigers Curse....oh gosh I loved this book. Personally, moi, I am a fan of romance, I've been like obsessed with it since forever. I picked up this book in the teen romance section of Barnes and Nobles. Hell yeah. That's how I roll, so I saw it and what intrigued me most was the cover. Like a freakin beautiful white tiger, and all these like designs. Of course, I made my parents get it for me, and I immediately started reading it. Like literally paid and walked out the store reading it. I like Kelsey, she was brave and strong, she may have some character flaws, but hey, who doesn't? We see her get a job at a circus, how cool is that? She meets a tiger, who's actually a HOT DUDE. Like howwww? Still cool, still cool, ... morewe see their romance blossom, and then freakin KISHAN enters the picture, like competing for Kelsey's love. I loved the details, and how she describes everything. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was why she left Ren. Because she thought she wasn't good enough for him? Uhhh, dude I think he proved he loved you based all the romance their was....WHOO! So much kissing, but it was cute(like I said, I'm obsessed.) And then she leaves India because of this...MEHHH. Anywho...the plot was cool, all the facts I learned about Indian culture, and the gods and stuff...COOOL. The fights, and the entire book was just INTERSTING. In a GREAT way. Hopefully others read this, it's good. I still have it 5 stars. EHH..I love romance...I may be biased, but whatves...
review 2: The only thing about this book that deserves a star is the beautiful cover. It is, without a doubt, the worst book I've read in my entire life. The main character is awful- she's that sort that everyone thinks is amazing yet never does anything to prove it. She infuriated me throughout the entire book- the plot of which, by the way, would've been hard to sit through even with decent characters. Don't even get me started on the romance, or that awful attempt at a love triangle. Any romantic interaction in this book can be classified as an awful attempt, to be frank. The writing was just as bad as the main character. It was so dry and just plain boring, and a lot of needless details that didn't contribute to plot, characterization, or atmosphere were spewed everywhere. To sum it up: everything that could be wrong with a book is found in this one. less
