review 1: Why did I knock off one star you may ask? Because the love triangle is getting annoying, and there is only one person that I'm feeling terribly sorry for; Kishan. At first I really adored Ren, but now...Kishan just feels like the better man. Maybe it's just a personal preference...but he gives Kelsey her space, keeps his promises to her, comforts her at the expense of his own feelings, and overall is a perfect man for a good healthy relationship. Ren is suffocating. Kelsey is turning into a Helen of Troy where every living being of the opposite gender is turned on by her. Sure she has some good moments, but it always gets overshadowed by her constant inner war of who to be with. She's using poor Kishan as an emotional anchor. She thinks she's doing him a favor by "choosing... more him" but in reality, she's just taking advantage of his feelings for her to hide from Ren.But....I did love the dragons. They were hilarious and fun. :) oh and that Texan cowboy dude. I forget his name...but he was awesome too.
review 2: Well, it's definitely a love triangle now. :( as the quest for the four gifts for Durga, Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan face all new challenges and discover something terrifying about Lokesh. I have to say first of all that I enjoyed this book but not as much as the others in the series. Too much of it was focused on relationship drama instead of the actual plot. Ren's obsession with Kelsey's hair is freaky and a little weird to be honest. I didn't like the way the bits that should've been suspenseful and full of action were spoiled by unnecessary comments on love and whatnot. I did however like this quest better than the others. It was much more original and seeing the personalities of the different dragons was really interesting. The ending was one I really didn't see coming and despite Tiger's Voyage's faults, I look forward to reading the conclusion of this epic series. less
