review 1: I loved ever single one of these stories and would be hard pressed to name a favorite. But I think "Thankstaking" was one of the best. I'm a sucker for a happy (or reasonably happy) ending, especially with stories relating to beloved and/or much hated holidays and was quite worried what sort of ending this one would have. I'll not spoil it for future readers, but I'm betting you'll appreciate it, too. All the other stories were top notch and well told. Highly recommended. I may well read it again and that almost never happens no matter how much I love a book.
review 2: A mostly fine collection of 12 Walt Longmire short stories. There were about 4 that I felt were either well written with a nice twist (Old Indian Trick) or helped to fill in some Walt backstory,
... moreor were just fun ( Vic hanging upside down in an outhouse) but the rest of the stories were pretty forgettable. If you're a Longmire completest by all means buy the book, but I'd recommend borrowing it from the library as I did. less

A great collection of Walt Longmire short stories. I also enjoyed the intro by Lou Diamond Phillips

大部分是以前零散卖的短篇,以前买过的这次会不会生气啊。
