review 1: I think the story was an interesting idea. It contained very colorful language which kept me reading it. I think that this was the first in a series, and honestly, I do wonder how the rest will end up; just not enough to read the second and third, or however many there are. I could not maintain my focus reading this. I kept wanting to do other things, and while that doesn't really do justice to the story, I don't feel capable of being able to write an upbeat review. It contains a little sci-fi which I don't mind, so that wasn't the reason I couldn't concentrate; it just wasn't my kind of thing.
review 2: Funny, weird, whacko. I was laughing out loud several times. This has explicit erotic gay male sex.A sperm pirate kidnapped or somehow obtained donors (victi... morems). They are strapped down with machines feeding them drugs and milking them every two hours. Beirn is sneaking up on the place, planning to free his brother Ox. I’ve never read anything like this. I loved the set up and the author’s creative and funny body part terms.The negatives:The relationship between the two guys was too vague. I wanted more clarity. It was unfinished.This is a short story, a free download from Goodreads. It gives a little back story for the sequel “Grown Men.” The characters in this story are Beirn and Zed. Their story does not continue in the sequel. The characters in the sequel are Ox and Runt. DATA:Narrative mode: 3rd person. Kindle count story length: 688. Swearing language: strong.
