review 2: Fascinated, I read this book in one afternoon-evening. The people described are intriguing, but I'm not certain I'd want to know any of them, maybe because I feel like I know too much about them. It's hard to say. The psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists described are almost as intriguing as their pa... moretients/clients, and they reinforced my belief that I was wise not to pursue my original career goal in psych. But that's not for here.The writing is very readable, and I'm planning to read Bergner's new book about female sexual desire. less
