review 1: I am now addicted to Daniel Silva novels. This one is fast-paced, interesting and keeps you wanting to read more! I never tire of Gabriel Allon and all of the exciting places which he travels to. There are always many twists and turns in all of Silva's work. The transitions are very smooth throughout the story and allow the reader to form ideas about where the story is going to end up. Once again, though, it is definitely the Israeli perspective... it would be interesting to see what a Muslim has to say about the novels.
review 2: This is my first book about Gabriel Allon, so I was very surprised it is really last in serial of that famous spy. I haven't met Gabriel in all his adventures, but must say this book is great. The ease of plot, understanding of art
... moreand art smuggling, and how it is all explained to us "regular" people, makes me so happy. Am so glad that I've finally found serial of books about espionage that I will enjoy reading. less
