Dorothy Must Die
review 1: My opinion is probably biased based on the fact that from the first time i saw The Wizard Of Oz as a kid i was forever changed. Now when i read anything to do with Oz it brings back the wonderful feeling of being a child and having your eyes opened to all things fantastical.I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was sassy, funny, vulgar in spots, and very entertaining.Believe it or not i much prefer this version of Oz as opposed to Gregory Maguires Wicked.I plan on reading the prequel and eagerly anticipate the sequel.Mrs Paige took me back to a place that all my life i have never wanted to leave.
review 2: It was very interesting, considering that 'I' must die. Both the plot and characters were compelling and contrasting to the original The Wizard of Oz. I love to see
... moreDorothy as a power and magic hungry tyrant, and all her best friends twisted into something atrocious. It is also interesting that this book is from Amy's point of view. There was a lot of amazing action and adventure, but the ending was slightly poor. less
