review 1: The first half of this book was what I would imagine a PG13 version of 50 Shades of Gray would be like. The two adult characters where continually describing how amazingly attractive the other was. That being said, I was really surprised to find that I liked this book. This was so different from what I normally read, that I got really into the plot. I finished it in two days, and Im still confused why I liked it, but I did.
review 2: Imagine finding out you have a 16 year old son from a one night stand when you were still in high school. Add to that, his mother left him with his grandparents when he was 5. You find out about him because he was in a horrible accident that leaves him handicapped and scarred and his grandparents can no longer take care of him due ... moreto health issues. Add some love interest and you have one interesting story. This is also a romance novel, a second plot expertly woven throughout the story. Kate is drawn to Matt, although she fights it because she is the new principal of Brady's school. She doesn't want to be accuse of anything immoral or showing favoritism. Chance meetings and issues with Brady at school keep bringing them together. Adding more interest to the story. This was a great story that I couldn't seem to put down. less
