review 1: I really loved this book. It isn't your typical zombie book with lots of violence and shots to the head, though there is some of that. It is written from the perspective of a living dead dude (LD) through his experiences of life. The author paints a very clever perspective on zombies. It was more like "The Life of Pi" - zombie style. It was entertaining and thought provoking. I highly recommend this book.
review 2: This is NOT a horror book, if you are looking for a book in which zombies spill blood and guts all over 300 pages this is not the book you want.Stony Mahall is a book which takes you through the life of a zombie child (or LD as the zombies prefer to be called) discovered at the side of a snow covered road he is taken in by family who raise him
... moreas their own and try to give him as normal a life as possible (even though he is restricted to living within the confines of his own home, who wants their secret zombie child running around the village afterall) as the story progresses and stony gets older the story progresses on a massive scale, I'll leave you to read it to see how though. It's not the best book I have ever picked up but it is definitely an enjoyable read and if you want a different spin on the tired zombie genre then you will have no problems with this, I struggled to decide if this was a solid 3 stars or if it just scraped 4. less

Nice take on the "zombie" novel. Stony was a strong likable character.
