review 1: Very cool, one of a kind idea. 11 stories, 22 mystery/thriller authors. They paired them up and had their characters together in each story. So, for example, you had Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs by Jeffrey Deaver with Lucas Davenport by John Sandford. It was great! I was really disappointed in my favorite authors Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child being paired up with a ventriloquist dummy though!
review 2: Another of those books where you can read any chapter you want in any order. A bit like choosing candy from a jar. I loved this book for the fact that two protagonists from different authors have been teamed up to solve crimes. The writing is seamless, and it is an idea that I have wished would happen for a long time. My two favourite stories were ... morethe first and last ones.
