review 1: Very short, easy to read book. But some deep thoughts and ideas. Would be a great book to use as a Bible study or Sunday school class discussion. My favorite line: "We must always remember that our deepest craving is not for something but for Someone. Our ultimate satisfaction is found not in the gifts we enjoy but in the Giver who provides them." Highly recommend this little book to everyone who calls themselves a Christian.
review 2: This is a short booklet by David Platt (3 whole chapters, plus the introduction & conclusion) to challenge Christians to follow Jesus. It examines what it means to follow Jesus today. His book challenges us to live totally for Christ, instead of marginally for Him. We are encouraged to trust Christ to change our affections.
... morePlatt discusses the changes that should be present in a Christian’s life, the differences between the old life and the new life. It ends with self-examination to test if we are a follower of Christ. I did wish Scripture references were given so we could study on our own. He defines “Christianese” terms in clear language. less

Reads like a Cliffs Notes of Follow Me. I would ignore this one and read the larger one instead.

Very concise, brief explanation of what it means to be a Christian. Plenty of Scripture.
