review 1: The math work stations mentioned in this book very easy to implement in your primary grade classroom. What I value the most is the ability to differentiate the work stations according to abilities. I also really appreciate Diller's organization tips and her stressing the importance of modeling how to use the materials to be placed in the math work stations many of times before actually placing them into a work station.
review 2: Debbie Diller rules!I read this book in conjunction with a group of teacher bloggers who made awesome math stations for my students to use! Too bad they are going to take a hundred ink cartridges to print them all...Anyway, this book helps teachers to set up independent stations for math so that teachers can meet with small math group
... mores. While some teachers may want to do this to give their students extra practice, I kind of have to because I have to meet with first and second graders separately. So this book was perfect for me!Debbie gives TONS of station ideas and there are even reproducible pages in the back of the book! It's spiral-bound, so it's easy to refer to for lesson planning and all that jazz.Great book! I'm glad I read it. less

Once again, not as helpful as I had hoped it would be.
