review 1: There is still a lot going on in Cedar Cove:. Linc and Lori are about to lose their business because of her dad, Leonard Bellamy. Chad and Gloria have both moved on, but what about their unborn baby?. Bruce is constantly searching for Rachel since she moved out of the house and is miserable without her. Jolene is still a brat, but softening toward Rachel a bit. Charlotte and Ben are becoming very forgetful about so many things-the cause of the fire in their house-and Olivia fears they need to move. Miranda proves to be an equal to the egotistical Will and can put him in his place; they sort of like each other in spite of all the arguments. Beau-you'll love this cute little bundle of love!Don't miss any of the action!
review 2: This is a great examp... morele of why I love--and sometimes don't love--a long-term series like this. While it's fun to catch up with old friends, the more books in a series, the more diffused the focus gets. I missed some of the previous characters we've come to know but were barely in this book. However, I really appreciate that the characters have grown and changed over the course of the series. The biggest problem for me is that Bruce, Rachel and Joeleen were not my favorite Cedar Cove family. However, I will miss it after the next book brings the series to an end. less
