review 1: Immediately after completing Book 1, I had to start the second book. The first book ended with so many unanswered questions for Kayla and Ben's relationship. Well, in this book, there are moments of clarity from Ben’s past, more intrigue, more sex and a very upsetting ending. Just when I that things were finally seem to settle down for these two, out of left field comes a shocker. So of course, I need to start Book 3 immediately. Rating 4.35
review 2: Okay, enough with the holy hell cliffhangers! Seriously?? I'm on the edge of my seat and you drop a bomb on me like that and then leave me hanging? I really like this book. ... morewant to scream! Trying not to give any spoilers away, how can you be in a situation like this and skirt over and pluck at questions? Kayla gets on my nerves a bit. If you want to know the truth about something, stand your ground and don't leave until you're fully satisfied. Stop with the cat and mouse game. It's so annoying and frankly pathetic. It's driving me crazy yet, I'm captivated. This is book two in the three book series. It really could have all been all out together in one complete book but I guess the author wanted to shock the audience with the major cliffhangers.. Well, it worked. less
