review 1: Overall, I liked this book. However, I feel much of it is for beginners/young Pagans. For example, her chapter on who to "come out of the broom closet" to and when is pretty much common sense. I really found much of it to be common sense; the sort of things a book shouldn't have to tell you. Perhaps it is also better suited for solitaries. Since I have joined a coven, many of these topics (what "harm none" means, raising pagan children) have been discussed with us by our High Priestess and High Priest.
review 2: This book is not for beginners. Having said that, I found it to be a great introduction to incorporating wicca into everyday life. I struggle with this aspect since I work in an office and have a pretty hectic life at home. With this book however, I've
... morefound ways to sneak a little spirituality into everything I do. It's even helped demystify some of the more obscure aspects of being a witch. Each time I read a chapter out of this book, I feel like I'm sitting down with Ms. Blake and having a nice long chat. It's such a comfortable read. I recommend this to any curious souls out there who, like me, have a little knowledge of wicca / pagan religions but would like to know more. less
