review 1: I listened to this book as an audiobook. My first audiobook. my first Deepak Chopra book. I must say this was very dense. I listened to the first part as I was driving then the second part I listened to while doing other stuff. I definitely requested the regular book from the library. This book was just too much to try to remember listening. I am visual. I wish I was this guy. It seems like the hapiness prescription is to not give a crap about anything bad in life and to just stay in lala land
review 2: I am still not sure how I feel about this book.I audio booked it while traveling to/from work (only about a 15 minute commute) so I heard it in bits and pieces. Sometimes, before work, I would totally agree with him - "yeah, I do find inner happiness from helpin... moreg others"... Then, after a long 12 hour shift working in the ER, without even a moment to scarf down dinner or pee, I was less than willing to believe the same things...Or maybe it would have resonated with me more if I had not listened to the book while driving in my car.Certainly some of the ideas were completely new to me. But some things were just kinda common sense. less
