review 1: Semaj is back fighting for everything she believes in, but how will she cope when faced with the ultimate betrayal?Let me start off by saying I was happy when I realized this would be the final installment. Apart of me was nervous this was going to be another drawn out series of a slew of unnecessary books. With that being said Mafia Princess 3 was an ok read. The beginning had me hooked because I wanted to see how Semaj would fair. From a reader point of view, I was hoping for more of a storyline between Semaj and Qua. It seemed as if they were strangers in this story and had never experienced the hot romance they shared. The constant character switch often left me confused and with unanswered questions. By the end I realized there probably would be yet another book, which... more leaves me disappointed.
review 2: I must start off by saying I was very nervous about reading/ buying this novel after discovering the series original author, Michelle Monay, would not be the one writing part three. After reading I can honestly say I had nothing to be nervous about. Mafia Princess 3 picks up immediately after the events of part two. Everyone believes Semaj to be dead but when the truth finally surfaces that she is alive and well, all hell breaks loose and you'd be surprised with the outcome! MP3 was action from beginning to end. There was never a dull moment from the time I first started reading all the way to the final page. I was on pins and needles the entire time reading.Friends turn into foes, family secrets come to light, and much more all within the pages of this book! The only thing that held me back from giving it a 5 star review was that there were some errors. Other than that, the book was great and I definitely recommend it to everyone as a great way to wrap the series up! ...although I would love to see a part four! ~Black Faithful Sister and Brothers Book Club~ less
