review 1: I've been tired with historical's because they're all obnoxiously predictable. This one is predictable in most ways, but thankfully it was very different in content. Not what I expected... and that's what made me keep reading. Honestly, it's probably only a 3, but I'm so impressed with the fact that the author just went there with gay rights in a historical romance book that I have to give her an extra star for guts. Her arguments may not influence my own lifestyle choices, but I do have a few more ideas in my arsenal when someone starts messing with a few of my friends.
review 2: Ok so I finished this book two days ago, and I have to be honest. I found it kind of boring. I did not find Radcliff attractive at all. His scar seemed sexy, but his personality and a
... morettitude was a total turn off. Janice was a pretty strong female character and I was proud of her most of the book. But I couldn't understand why she loved him so much. It seemed more like fatuation not love. Anyways the whole book was predictable except for two parts for me. And the last two or three chapters that led to the ending I felt dragged to no climatic ending and could have been a lot shorter. I also didn't understand a few of the English terminology and wish the author would have explained what that was. Anyways that's what I thought of the book. less

3.5 stars. Pretty decent, but I found the heroine a bit annoying at times.
