review 1: Ok, so this book isn't going to make you an expert on everything, and I wouldn't depend on it for life-saving procedures, but overall it's a fun little reference and a perfect coffee-table book. I first came across it in a doctor's office and realize I HAD to have it, so that I could devour it at home.It's whimsical, informative, and while I don't expect it to ever provide me anything I need at the exact time I need it, if I ever want to make a disco ball out of leftover/extra/junk mail CD-Roms, this book will show me how!
review 2: Found this book at a discount book store and it is worth so much more than the price asked. There is hardly any text in it and is mostly a pictorial guide book- with tutorials on how to wrestle a crocodile (not so helpful), spoon wi... morethout the uncomfortable arm positioning (yet to try), cut a mango to how to look dashing in a suit. The guide is very concise and for some things such as building a koi pond, you might want to refer to a more detailed book but it is a humorous and informative guide nevertheless. less
