review 1: Third in a series of three by the internationally know author Diana Palmer. Diana writes about sexy, tall, virle men who are attracted to younger, innocent, independent women. There's always a romp: in the hay, in the grass, on a couch... This time the wounded former border agent, who is pretty well healed, finds his "unusual" neighbor at his back door during a snow storm. She "sees things" and this time she sees that he is in trouble - a contract has been put out on him. Will the killer get close? Who was the security installer? Was that really a deputy who came to interview her? What are the connections? Why was the contract issued? By whom? Will she "see" in time to save herself...and him? Is the quiet brooding body guard looking for a relationship? Can the electronics ... moreman find the leak? The story was long enough to keep me interested and not so detailed that I was haunted by the characters at night. You can tell when the sexy scenes are coming. They are not vividly described. If you don't care for them, you can skip over those few pages and not miss any of the story.
review 2: Wyoming Bold is the third book in Diana Palmer's Wyoming series and continues the story of the Kirk brothers. This book focuses on Dalton Kirk aka 'Tank.' After serving in the military overseas, Tank returned to the United States and joined the U.S border patrol. After a tragic turn of events involving a rogue DEA agent and a shooting, Tank returns to Wyoming where he and his family own and run a family ranch. The heroine, Merissa Baker, has been shunned her entire life for having the special ability of foresight. Hailing from a small town, everyone knew Merissa as the 'outcast,' and the 'strange one,' and for the most part they avoided her and her equally 'strange' and psychic mother. One snowy evening, Merissa shows up on Tank's ranch door with a warning that his life is in danger and tells him about things that only he knows. At first, Tank is very leery of Merissa's warnings, but after strange things start to occur and she predicts an accident involving one of Tank's foreman, he has a change of heart. Together they attempt to solve who is after Tank's life, as Merissa's visions are, at times, a bit hazy and unclear. The heroine, Merissa is pretty typical for Diana Palmer (i.e., virginal, shy and a little plain looking). The hero is also pretty typical for Diana Palmer's books (i.e., rugged, handsome, outgoing and take charge of the situation. For the most part, I enjoyed this book, though it was a bit slow in parts. I know other people have complained about the hero and heroine falling in love quickly, but I've seen that happen in real life, so it doesn't really bother me. I don't really enjoy when the hero and heroine take forever to 'fall in love' and all they do is fight and argue throughout half of the book, so this was a nice change. Things I enjoyed: The book cover. I mean, come on, look at that gorgeous guy!The heroine had special abilities (i.e., foresight), and it brought something unique to this book.Things I didn't really enjoy:The 'lovemaking' was missing. There was kissing here and there, but it seems Diana Palmer, for the most part, has been steering clear of writing love scenes. The heroine is pretty typical for a Diana Palmer book (i.e., virginal, shy and plain looking.) less

The main thing that bothered me in this story was the changing name of Canes wife.
