review 1: This book is so fun! I've read many Lego books with my children, and to be honest, most of them I find quite dull. I love Lego, but I just usually don't get joy out of reading about Lego, as my kids tend to do. However, this book is different. Each minifigure comes with it's own personality. Many of them are hilarious. Some of them are surprising. Some are completely opposite to what you'd expect, based on the character it is. There are also neat facts, such as what letters stand for on a minifigure's uniform. My children, ages 6 and 9, loved this book, and I did, too.
review 2: Although all of this information is available on the LEGO website, having it in print form is much more enjoyable. Each minifigure character has a brief description of how it c
... moreame to be, and points out all of the easter eggs and allusions each character features. It also shows off the original features and new parts of each minifigure, as well as ideas on how to use each figure. LEGO has really evolved from when I was a kid, and this is a cool book that will show you how that all came to be. less
