review 1: Oh I loved Broc and Sonya’s story!! Broc having saved Sonya and her sister and then all these years later the connection is still there. I so love the stubbornness of these warriors (even if it does aggravate me sometimes lol) Sonya is such an amazing druid and being paired with Broc it’s an amazing duo! Seeing their love unfold and blossom was amazing!!  I was in tears and hoping that Duncan was saved somehow after Malcolm did that..  I wasn’t ready for that part, I will admit. But I am interested to see where this story leads after this being thrust in the future!! I give this book 5 out of 5 shields!!
review 2: I just finished reading Donna Grant's "Darkest Highlander", her sixth book in the Dark Sword series. I loved her characters. This story ... moreis the last one of her "A Dark Sword series". Intriging Warrior Broc is here again ! Broc had watch over Sonya and her sister Anice ever since he found them as babies and rescued them. Broc is captured and Sonya will try to help him with her magic. Ms. Grant is a great writer and I always enjoy reading her books specially this series that ends with this book. If you are a fan of Donna Grant, this book is for you. less
