review 1: este e o 2° volume da série dark sword da donna Grant, os macleods São 3 irmãos que perderam tudo devido a um massacre cometido pela druida dreide contra o clã deles. passados 3 mil anos e cansados de se esconderem eles resolvem lutar.está r a história do fallon o mais velho dos 3 que para combater o deus que tem dentro de si recorreu a bebida, neste volume conhecemos a larena a única mulher warrior até agora e o romance entre eles, e giro e gostei de ver um pouco mais do lado sensível do fallon, adorei s larena e o primo dela o malcolm.gostava de ter visto o resgate do quinn ainda neste livro mas vai ter de ficar pro próximo :-)
review 2: I still like the overall concept and the series, but found the whole "going to court" premise very odd. Too ma... moreny questions like, "how did they explain Fallon's presence since the line was dead for centuries?" "Why was she there?" "How is the existence of the gods kept secret?" It made the whole first third of the book very difficult to swallow. The writing itself is good, though, and once we moved the action to the castle, the storyline solidified somewhat. less
