review 1: I think Donna Grant is one of the best Scottish romance writers out there. Her characters are engaging and likable and her stories have great flow. She follows through with her story lines and has a great writing style. I loved the hero and heroine in this book - Ian battling his demon and his sorrow after his brothers murder, and Dani with her magic. Overall a great read, and I can't wait for the next one!
review 2: If you had read the Midnight's Master, you would already notice the pattern of this whole series--warriors who stand to protect the druids from Declan Wallace and Deidre who intended to rule the world with the help of black magic. This book was about the fate of Danielle Buchanan--who was orphaned at the age of twelve and raised by her dad's relat... moreives in Scotland from United States--and Ian Kerr--a warrior who time-traveled from the past to present when Declan Wallace brought evil Deidre to present time. I really enjoyed reading it since there's no love triangle like the young adult novels nowadays, and the story just kept developing that you would not want to drop the book even for a second. less
