review 1: This was my first book by this author and i enjoyed the book. The book was really easy to read almost like it was written for a younger audience. I flew through this book and kept checking to see if it was a teen book or younger since it was so easy. It was a very sad story with a somewhat good ending. It's hard to tell in these types of cases what is truly a good ending and will it stay that way. I enjoyed the story as i was not sure where it was going to end up and where the characters were going to end up. The villian of the book was also somewhat redeemable in his qualities which made it hard to fully hate him. Just a sad story but a good quick read.
review 2: I don't want to give this novel 2 stars. I didn't hate it. But 3 stars is just too high for it
... more. I guess 2.5 stars is more accurate for how I feel about this book. It was just odd to me. It jumped around too much. Characters were being developed but it stopped half-way through their development, so it seemed choppy and random to me. The characters' motivations were more stated than really felt by the reader (at least me). The story was too choppy and unfinished. The ending didn't tie up anything for me. It just added to the chaos of the dialogue and mindsets and behaviors and, just everything, but not in a way that was done on purpose. It was just an odd story for me. less

Didn't really like this book. Kind of boring. Felt like I had read this story before.
