review 1: I hated that it skipped over a couple years I wanted the whole court experience to hear and see everything that happened with psycho Willis. But, more then anything I wanted to find out what happened to Madora, she might have been a brainwashed accomplice but in a way she helped save Linda's life and probably countless other girls lives as well. And what happened to the baby? The writer made such a big fuss with Madora wanting the baby to have a good home but they never reveal what the baby's end was!? What's that? Anyways those are the reasons I only give four stars. Otherwise, it was a very intriguing story and I loved how I could always see through Willis even tho like Madora i wasnt given reasons to hate him at first.
review 2: At times, this book was diffi... morecult to read. The star of this story is Madora who allowed her sociopath boyfriend do whatever he wanted with her or the pregnant girl he kidnapped. The author did a good job delving into each character's past which helps the reader have a better understanding of the people in the story. Although difficult to read, I kept on because I wanted to know what happened to the characters. less
