review 1: I received this book as part of a promotion. I had never heard of Drucilla Campell or the books she has written. It is always nice to discover a new author. The Good Sister was an intense story of two sisters, their mother and the secrets they hid for years. Drawing from personal family history and research Ms. Campell tells an emotional story of how dealing with postpartum depression can destroy a family. I look forward to reading more of her books.
review 2: This book was good as it gave me a bit of insight into the world of postpartum depressions. I cried for Simone as she found it to hard to cope with the everyday tasks of her life and depended on everyone around her to take care of her every need and I rallied for Roxanne to be able to take control of her
... more life but it seemed as she was just as dependent on Simone as Simone was on her. Also shows how easily the disfunction of a family can be inherited by involved. less

Intense. Very good, but too often I was annoyed at a character's action to rate the book any higher.
