review 1: Really enjoyed the book. It was light-hearted and I preferred it to her earlier book of the same series; Love Letters from A Duke. One of the my rating requirements is how often I would want to re-read the book again. James is a proper duke who was mistaken for a man of business. He wasn't able to correct the mistake since he was so smitten the first time he laid eyes on Elinor.I also liked how he started acting "mad" to the horror of his staff. Rather wished that Elinor realized or learned the transformation since she seemed to have such a bad impression of Parkerton.I would also have liked for him to mention to Elinor his own past experience with his 1st wife. Of course, it's been a very long time so perhaps he's just moved on and thought it of no consequence.As fo... morer Elinor, I also liked her and the other characters better than the book I mentioned earlier.I also did not like how quick the romance take place, and there were many times when she thought him honorable (and not to say he isn't), just that I did not notice many indicators that he is indeed so.
review 2: I picked this book up because I love the author.Well as it turns out this was my 1st read in this series. Who knew. Smooth read.Fun. Great characters. Love the setting.
