review 1: I did like this book but, I just felt like I have read this book over and over so many times except with different characters....I knew what was gonna happen before it happened....I so hate when I can call it before it even happens...just surprise me is all I'm saying....love a surprise!!! Joss was also dang stupid....if you asked me so weak!!! Harper was pretty cool and had more of a backbone than Joss.....I would go with her being the heroine of this story and she was only 14...geez Joss grow a backbone lol
review 2: I really liked the writing style. Very good flow--I was not confused at the time line. Excellent characters. h and H were both strong and vulnerable. I loved the way they started off not liking each other, and the relationship grew from the... morem actually getting to know each other instead of "instant love" I am coming across so much lately. I'm surprised the author could keep the H with such alpha characteristics considering he seemed so real. He actually got emotional quite a few times, but it did not make him seem "less manly" at all. h went through a lot, and she did not bounce back immediately, or make less of what happened to her. It made the situations seem more realistic, and I felt the H's responses and actions to these incidents were done perfectly. I also enjoyed secondary characters. There were not a lot of them, but each added the perfect angle to the plot line. Good suspense aspect, and sexy scenes were very steamy and well done. Really loved the whole package--I would definitely recommend. less
