review 1: Although more of an epilogue for "Duke of Midnight" than the Maiden Lane series, all the couples from the previous books come together to attend a Christmas celebration at the orphanage. We finally get to see what happened to the Wakefield Emeralds, Artemis and Penelope get their closure, Joseph Tinbox makes an appearance following his commission, and maybe... Phoebe and Captain Trevillion are pushed together as a future pairing?! Definitely a worthwhile read to loyal followers of the series with the wonderful writing that one expects from Elizabeth Hoyt.
review 2: A very delicious Christmas present! I loved this special where we meet almost all the main characters appeared till now! Elizabeth has been able to touch me even in few sentences, but it was way too ... moreshort!! I want, need, MORE!!!And I think the author gave us a clue about who is Phoebe's soulmate! And if it's how it appears I absolutely adore the pair! Can't wait for the next novels in this fabulous series! less
