review 1: Water locked the story of contrasting equalsMs. Gemma the high maintenance yet tomboy when business got real. And the street rough mr. Terrance Ramsey both at first seemed to be different people and yet they are each others equal although Gemma carried a grace to her styles of fashion; she did let her brute force show when need be. That's a lady for you. Terrance a force to be reckoned with that showed his true colors and didn't care if you were watching or not. I loved the hunter and huntress game both Gemma and Terry played especially Gemma but when Terrance finally caught her even though she had a strong attraction to that hott Dr. Vecchio... who wouldn't Italian men are drop dead gorgeous and steamy hott... But she does realize Terrance is more of her better half than ... moreGiovanni even though he had a sophisticated aristocratic demeanor...chicks dig men with books. Elizabeth Hunter did spin my head when she had Gemma comparing Giovanni and Terry and Terry jealous of the fire vampire. But earth and water have a more dirtier and sexier relationship which those two showed it rough and dirty....such a page turner and Gemma loved Gio at a point in time and who can ever forget their first love which I never thought she married before and her hubby died under sad circumstances but its all good....its better to love than to not love at all in the end she still got the man that was completely out of this world and sometimes its a good thing nice guys finished last.....and bad boys wins..Terrance speaking. Loved every page. Thank you e.h.
review 2: Once again Elizabeth Hunter has written a fantastic on the edge of seat book although being a novella it is still up to her standards of the other books. I love how Terry tricked Gemma into marriage and how Gemma seemed like a bitch but that is what Terry loves about her. In the end we find out where she is the way that she is and it does make sense. Terry Ramsey and how he met Gemma and that he is an absolute bruiser and cad. I love him especially the cockney accent. Elizabeth Hunter goes at the plot with B and Gio and the Elixir of Life from all different angles and shows who are all being felt out. less
