review 1: Yes, I am loving it. Tanner, a detective based at LA comes back to Siera Nevada on his uncle's death. He finds the death of his uncle not natural, though authorities claims it a heart infraction, since there weren't bruises or any sort of struggling at the crime scene- it wasn't declared crime scene yet. Tanner is suspicious and this his nature is getting pay off- valuable leads in relation to his uncles death is bit by bit uncovering.
review 2: I miss the old Elizabeth Lowell.She is the best for her Historical Romance novels and some contemporary works, not so much for Romantic Suspense.The story, while pretty ok, seemed dragging at most. I forced myself to finish the entire book as I do not want to waste the money I paid for it. There were a few decent chapte... morers, and you keep on guessing who the killer is.All in all, it was ok. Would not reread it again but Im still a fan of Lowell and will continue to buy her books in the future.Here's to hoping to the comeback of Historicals!! less
