review 1: I enjoyed this book by E. Lowell but it wasn't one of her best. The research and information about diving etc. in the book was interesting but maybe a bit too much of it. The romance was instant and really not much conflict of any kind to make it more interesting. The main character got over her fear of being on the water and diving a bit fast to be realistic but that's just my opinion. It was a fun, fast read but not overly suspensful. I did figure out fairly soon who the culprit probably was but didn't guess all the plot twists. All in all a fun read.

... moreisappointed with the troubled-woman-finds-troubled-man-irresistible scenario that arose. Not my usual cup of tea. However, I can't deny that it's well-written, well-paced, well-developed, & will hold your interest, even if it's not your usual thing. So if you like this author, read this book :) If you prefer deep character studies, more subtle relationship development, or something that challenges you as a reader, this probably isn't for you... unless you're just looking for a quick fun adventure. less

Good beach read. Not familiar with Elizabeth Lowell but would read more books from her.
