review 1: Well, I guessed the ending from the blurb to be honest - perhaps because I've already read another YA novel with the same plot twist. I read this book right til the end in the hopes that Woods would surprise me, but was disappointed. That being said, if I hadn't read a similar book before I would've LOVED this book. It does get a bit creepy near the end (so don't expect a light chick lit), but I like that - it's certainly more interesting than a lot of other YA novels out there. The ending was admittedly satisfying & even though it was predictable for me, you might be very impressed by it.Sure, it's nothing spectacular: the writing is nice although pretty average and the love interest (Ethan) could've been more blush-worthy - his character seemed kinda flat to me. But this ... morebook did keep me entertained: I read it solidly in two evenings and cringed right alongside Cara whenever she did something embarrassing. Overall, I'd say it's worth a read :)
review 2: This was one twisted little book. I love twisted little books, but this one only gets two stars because... 1. The writing was ho-hum (but perfect if you are a teenager and want a quick read) 2. I didn't fall in love with the main character 3. I predicted the ending.But- I will say that even though I predicted the ending, it still was a bit of a shock anyway that i was right, AND it was enjoyable just like fun little horror movies are enjoyable. less

Well, I'll be dammed! I did not know, at all, that it would go that route. Holy fucking twist!
