review 1: DNF at around the 60% mark. Have read other Elle Casey's books and have enjoyed them. But this one fell a bit flat. Really liked the idea of the story and the story started out ok, but as it went on some of the characters actions, mainly the main male character Brian's felt a bit too unrealistic . I really liked the compassion he showed but a lot his actions were just too much/too convenient for under the circumstances. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of insta-love and that was the vibe I got in this book. I just wasn't feeling a connection to the characters and even by skimming some parts I was struggling to continue. Oh well, onto the next.
review 2: I feel like I need to leave a review because I rated this so low. This book had some potential but it was almo
... morest too unrealistic for me. I had to force myself to finish. I did love the characters. Nicole...what she went through...it's so sad and scary that this goes on in real life. Brian...he's such a good guy and dad. The other thing that irritated me is the fact that Nicole had literally lived there a week and he was in love with her. I felt the relationship moved waaaay to fast. Was sad I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. less

A nice story of moving ahead after a bad situation. Very sweet..

I felt some sections moved too quickly. But I liked the story.
