review 1: 4.5 3 days later and can't figure out what to rate it so I just threw the other star at it and I'm moving on. I was a little annoyed with the lack of growth of the main character but the story just never bored me and had me flipping pages like the last 3 books. If this was the end of the story I think I would have dropped it to a 4 because it would have been too rushed and incomplete. Knowing there is more to it made it easier on which way to swing.
review 2: I originally was "ok" with this book but as time went on and I thought about it more I changed my mind. I am honestly pretty annoyed with the series and will not continue into the next series - - not sure why it's under a different name but whatever I guess.Jayne has a horrible potty mouth which I'm fi... morene with, I find it amusing actually. But this makes the series seem like a series for adults because a teenager shouldn't read that kind of language but the storyline has moved into seriously BAD YA territory.SPOILERS A love triangle with her guardian angel and her elemental equal..WTF! Really? Plus she's been all goo goo for Spike the whole time. I understand teenagers are emotional, etc.. but come on Elle Casey you are turning Jayne into a hoe! I find this new development to be absurd. It makes Twilight look like a masterpiece. less
