review 1: Fanfiction for a television show that never existed sounded fun to me, so I gave it a try, but it didn't work for me as well as actual television might have. Too many characters and too many rapid switches of POV. But the premise is really interesting and I suspect the payoff, if I'd managed to get invested enough in the characters to keep track of them, might have been worthwhile. If I had tons of money and time, I'd probably keep reading the series to see where it goes, because the world, premise, and setting were entertaining. As it is, though, I'm probably stopping here.
review 2: The origins of this as criminal minds-ish fan fic (with a lot of Alphas thrown in) is pretty clear, but I didn't mind it. There's not enough red herrings and whatnot in the cases
... more for them to be good mysteries, exactly, but they're not bad as cases of the week, since there's plenty of character material going on too. The characters are really more the draw for me anyways. I think someone who watches a lot of procedural shows would really enjoy this. less

If Criminal Minds had a scifi premise, it would be this series. That works both for and against it.

I'm hooked. These are great. I wish it was a real tv show.
