review 1: Over all, the book was good. The lack of one star is because the plot is straying from the whole point of the story. It was supposed to be Briana and Colt's story but it doesn't feel like it, most of the time. The story between Rebecca and Robert was given more emphasis in this book. I just think they both deserved they're own books. I wanted more from Briana and Colt because honestly, the idea of their story was honestly interesting.
review 2: Enjoyed both the romances in this novel, though felt less certain of an HEA for Rebecca and Robert. Alternating between the two couples drew the stories out, but also added to the suspense. Solid, believable conflicts. Natural dialog. Fully-drawn characters. Possibilities for angst weren’t well developed (which can be
... moregood or bad, depending on your preference). The loves scenes were graphic and plentiful though lacked sexual tension (at least for me). While some of that might be due to the primary couple already being married, I actually found their story more engaging. This is my first Emma Wildes, I’ll definitely be looking for more. less
