review 1: I still can't believe I read this book in one day. That's Amazing! In this book, it tells the life of Yellowfang, a mangy old she-cat. She was made warrior first, then became medicine cat, but one cat was nat happy about that, Raggedpelt. Yellowfang bore kits, but only one survived, Brokenkit. She broke the medicine cat code, by giving birth to kits. Medicine cats are not supposed to fall in love. Yellowfang thought that the kit that survived was a gift, but she was wrong. review 2: Alright throw away all your pre-opinions about books about cats because this book is great! And .... Extremely sad. For you guys who don't know much a... morebout the warriors universe. (you poor deprived people) It's about cats who live in four tribes/ or clans and are well like the name implies warriors. This book is about the past of the born Shadow Clan/ adopted Thunder Clan medicine cat YellowFang. It was refreshing to see and hear from a Shadow Clan cat and learn about Shadow clan, since so much about the series is about thunder clan. It's dramatically written. (you can practically hear sound affects in the background as you read) and it's also well written. The reason I gave it 3 out 5 stars is because some parts are rushed or even skipped by. That and after reading it I wanted to crawl into the corner and cry. It was so sad but still definitely worth reading. less
