I LOVED Leo in When The Sun Goes Down and I LOVE him even more now!! My GAWD can Erin put together the toughest bad boy on 'Planet Book' with the SWEETEST heart.. I don't know how, but she does... and every dang time..I am melted!! Leo will MELT YOUR HEART!!!
review 2: This novella can be read as a standalone story but I highly recommend that you read When the Sun Goes Down first. Actually, I recommend you read anything that Erin Noelle writes.I loved Leo in When the Sun Goes Down - he was a good, loyal man and even though his character was a bit dark and myste... morerious you still wanted him to be your book boyfriend because he has incredibly unselfish personality with the added bonus of being freaking hot.When I finished the first book, I thought that Leo deserved his own story and I wanted him to find his own happily ever moment. So I completed devoured As the Dawn Breaks as soon as I got it. I had to meet the women who would be his other half because Katrina was such an amazing character that I knew Trystan would be incredible.Their story moves at a fast pace and quickly sucks you in. There is quite a bit of drama in both of Leo and Trystan's lives - I cannot go into detail about their problems without giving away plot twists. But it doesn't matter what's going on in their real lives because there is some serious chemistry and attraction between the two. It is undeniable and awesome.My favorite part about Erin's books is that she writes female lead characters that I truly like and enjoy reading about. Trystan's character was genuine and her problems were normal, everyday problems. She was quirky and funny as well as intelligent. I liked that she had a strong character and was able to take on all that is Leo without judging.My only complaint - I wanted more but that's just me being a greedy reader. I loved these characters and I liked getting a peak back into their world. I thought their story was sweet and intense - completely engaging. less
