review 1: Two for the price of one. No, it's not another threesome. Fortunately or unfortunately, not sure... This time it's Chris turn to find his mate. A very cute petite Asian woman. A very much married one. But not all is bad news because there's something weird going on in that marriage and he sure wants to find out...only he finds more than he wanted or expected. Like a husband who suddenly turns into a brother. A brother who then seems to find a mate in Gina, Chris's cop cousin who then gets kidnapped by the guy the Asian siblings were running from. How much interesting can it get? Lots. Very fine writing indeed. Funny, sweet and dramatic.
review 2: Another great read written by Eve Langlais! This story was like having two complete stories in one. The same fun, fu... morenny and sensual way she writes all of her works with a little less steam and a different type of twist(s) that make Eve's writing so addictive. A definite must read for all paranormal romance readers!Jill and her brother Jack (hee hee) have been in hiding, running and protecting each other for a majority of their lives from a disgusting hunter that has once held them captive. Part of their plan is to lay low, no social activity (or at least VERY limited), no friends and no shifting, outdoors, ever! They are a rare breed of cat and on the verge of extinction and hunted for their rarity. It’s hard for them to live this way, actually not living, just existing. When Jack finally finds someone trust worthy to build them an indoor gym so they can get the activity all shifters need that handy man that shows up sets Jill’s insides (and out sides) all ablaze! But there’s nothing she can do about it, finding her mate is an amazing blessing, but can she risk herself and Jack to calm the mating fever that burns within. For now, at least, that’s what she must do!Jack adores Jill, will do anything for her. When Chris comes along to build the gym, Jack dislikes him immediately, sends him away and hopes to never see him again. But fate and a nice shifter woman (aka Chris’s mother) have other ideas. There’s nothing he can do to stop them. What’s worse than anything is, Jack feels all he’s worked on to keep himself and Jill safe is all for nothing. That’s until he meets Chris’s cousin and HIS insides go aflame!Chris, oh Chris, poor guy. Love him and his family. He’s a hot very talented wolf shifter that plays the field as a field should be played. But when he meets Jack and Jill, everything changes. He’s found his mate and there’s nothing he can do about it. But there are things his family can do and you have to love their meddling ways. True family right there and their antics are THE BEST!I was left wanting more of EVERYTHING (in all the best ways)! Especially the two mated couples. I think fate picked two perfect matches and I’d love to see how they mesh in with the family and if they’ll eventually end up with pups or kits one day :) less
