review 1: i felt very misled by the back cover. throughout the book i was waiting for what i thought i had read on the cover to actually happen. that's a strange feeling when reading a book. like it isn't doing what it is supposed to. other than that i enjoyed this book, even looking forward to getting into bed to read just a few pages. there is a fun combination of science, detective story, romance and travel in this book and i'm glad i read it. maybe i should go back and re-read the cover. was i making up a story or is the back intentionally misleading? ah! a true mystery.
review 2: Einer der besten Thriller der letzten Jahre.geschickt konstruierter Plot, basierend auf haarsträubenden wahren Begebenheiten (Versuche der CIA und anderer Geheimdienste, Menschen zu "steu... moreern"), vielschichtige Figuren (Sharko ist ein Wahnsinns-Typ) und bis zum Schluss hochgehaltener Spannungsbogen...Ich werde mir noch andere Bücher von Thilliez vornehmen. Das hier verdient eine dicke Empfehlung. less
