review 1: Don't ask an Irishman anything and expect him to get straight to the point - it won't ever happen - but then, if it did you'd miss the joy in the journey and Ben MacCarthy's life was quite a journey and one to be enjoyed. 'The Last Storyteller' brings the tale of Ben's life to a satisfying conclusion (take the time to read it for yourself to find out what happens and enjoy the journey) with a touch of whimsy and magic - a very fitting end to a grand tale. Frank Delaney has indeed mastered the art of storytelling with all of his little detours and sidebars that add richness to the stories.
