review 1: Why is it so hard to discover that individual books are part of a trilogy? Is the publisher attempting to make more money? It seems to happen too much, like when I am trying to find book 4, I can't figure out which is book 4 and which is book 8 of some series.Regardless, I didn't know this was part of a series, as there was no indication on the cover or summary. It was an OK book, I liked the characters that filled Ben's life. I couldn't understand why they liked Ben so much, or how he knew them, now it makes a bit more sense. I was also so confused about the situation w/Northern Ireland, and so found myself confused more often than note.I wish I could be one of those people that did not HAVE to finish a book.
review 2: Usually in a trilogy the first book is
... more the strongest, the second mediocre and the last good, but not quite as good as the first. Not so with this book! The Last Story Teller is the 3rd in the trilogy that began with Venetia Kelly's Traveling Show. But it is by far the best of the three. Frank Delaney is a fitting heir to all of the ancient Irish seanchai. His words and the story flow gracefully like the notes of a symphony. less
