review 1: I think this book is very interesting. It hooked me by having so many different kind of adventures that Geronimo has to go through to get the the Heart of Happiness. When Geronimo gets to the different places, the author puts little questions that made me feel like I knew what Geronimo was going through. He had many challenges throughout each place he travels through. The nearer he gets to getting the Heart of Happiness, the more excitement feel. Everything that Geronimo goes through has a purpose for him to be able to get to the Hear of Happiness. All those crystal keys he found helped him open the door which led him to getting closer to get the Heart of Happiness. Also all the mini questions helped. Without answering all the questions near the crystal cave he would have... more never found the steps that lead him back up to get the Heart of Happiness to the Queen of Fairies. This book is over all very interesting and I hope you I hope you enjoy it to.
review 2: Having decided to try one Geronimo Stilton book, considering all the attention and popularity the series is getting and how much my eleven-year old cousin loves it as well, I was disappointed and concerned. My first impressions were positive. How could they not have been? A lot of detail was given to the publication of this book, which much have cost a considerable amount of money. It is definitely an eye-catching book, from the colourful illustrations to all the book's maps and fantastical elements. As far as publications go, this book was top-notch. I can understand some of the charm of the series as well, since it tries to incorporate some humour and puzzle-solving. Nevertheless, I fear this is all that it has going for it. I understand that it was intended to be read by children of ages between nine to eleven years old. But so were the books written by Enid Blyton. And what a far cry between the two! Although the latter does not attempt to include all the ridiculous magical lands one could think of all in one plot, Blyton focuses more on the moral of the particular story, to much greater effect. One should understand that the real author of these books, Elisabbetta Dami, with all due respect, is an Italian, and Italians, understandably, have very different standards of English. The book is infantile, to say the least. It does not reach, in my opinion, the standard of many bilingual countries. And I find it hard to recommend these sort of books when authors like Enid Blyton did such a better job. Parents, therefore, should be wary of these sort of translations as they have a more lax standard as regards to children's literature. less

Geronimo is sent to a journey by the Queen to find the "Heart of Happiness". The mouse and his crew had to find a map in a ogre's house, deal with a mad Gingerbread Queen and a raging King-In-The-Box. After the crew got to relax in the Kingdom of Comfort right after. Later ob he goes to the last stop and the Heart of happiness wasn't there then, suddenly a shooting star pass and landed right beside Geronimo and his crew and there were 33 gates/doors and they had 33 keys. After Geronimo had to pick from 7 heart and hopefully picks the right heart.I picked up this book because I flipped through the book and saw a lot of bright and colourful picture and big bold words which made me want to read it even more.I finished the book because the colours and picture somehow made it easier for me to read the book.I would recommend this book to sandy because sandy likes adventure and she never read one of the Geronimo Stilton's books and she should try new things
