review 1: The characters in this book were so real - not the "cookie cutter" type - and developed some depth as the story moved along. I especially liked Mama Peg (the grandma) who was quite feisty! As a mother, I could completely relate to all of Jenny's thoughts and feelings - I cannot imagine facing everything she did in this book. It was overwhelming at times but an emotional, heartfelt, and thought provoking read.I HIGHLY recommend this one. less
