A decent book about George Washington. The letters and journals quoted are awesome. Glenn Beck's views and imaginings of what was going on in Washington's mind, not so awesome. Not terrible, don't get me wrong. Just, I find supposition of the actual dialogue and emotions of a historical character as rather pointless. Though I did enjoy the subtle comparison of George Washington to Captain Moroni. Great men really do exist still.
While I understand the point of the book was to portray why we should be more like George Washington, aside from the storytelling bits (which were my favorite parts and well-written) I felt like I was listening to hours of monologue on God's gift to the world Washington, the like of which the world will never see again. It was a little irritating at times. But overall, the book was enjoyable. I liked it.
Lots of war stuff here and not as much fun and interesting facts as I would have thought. Oh well!
You will learn a lot about George Washington and what a man of real integrity is like.
Interesting info about Washington, not so interested in political commentary.
